School Services

School districts wishing to acquire new sites must comply with requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), California Department of Education (CDE), and Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).

Geologic Hazards Report:

The Geologic Hazard Report addresses surrounding geologic hazards with the potential to impact the school site. The report considers groung shaking from nearby faults and earthquake epicenters, potential inundation from dam failure or existing flood zones, volcanic hazards due to direct exposure and ash fall, threat from tsunamis and seiches, and shifting due to subsidence or liquefaction. The geologic hazards report is prepared pursuant to Education Code Section 17212 and SFPD Form 4.01 Item 6.K.

Other Services

NOA also provides Geotechnical Investigations and DSA-approved Testing and Inspections for school construction projects.
